Support Group Meeting

3rd Tuesday of every month, August through May

Time: 7 pm

Location: Peninsula Baptist Church

 

NOTICE: This month's support meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 20.

Year End Celebration!

This month's support meeting will be the Year End Celebration! We'll provide the pizza; we ask each family to please bring a drink. We'll begin eating around 5:30. Next, we'll have our talent show, awards presentations, and graduation ceremony for our graduating seniors. This will be a special night, and we look forward to seeing all our families there!

Support group meeting topics vary from month to month. Past meetings have featured speakers from NCHE, testing professionals, and experienced homeschoolers offering advice on various subjects. This monthly meeting is a time for homeschool parents to meet one another, fellowship, and learn from each other. The meetings are geared towards adults, and no child workshops or topics are provided. Park around back and use the back entrance to the church.

Everyone is invited to attend our Support Group meetings. If you're thinking of becoming a member or you'd just like to visit our group to see who we are first, these monthly meetings are a terrific opportunity. Come join us!

 

LIFE Library News!

Please come and visit our LIFE Library! Our library has been expanded this year and is growing all the time. A list of available titles is found on the link to the left of this screen. You can peruse the library each Monday during co-op hours and during each Support Group meeting.

After you have joined LIFE at Lake Norman, you are eligible to receive emails with updates concerning upcoming activities and announcements for LIFE members. To join LIFE at Lake Norman, click here. Then, to sign up for emails, simply go to Yahoo! Groups and search for LIFELKN. Because our email loop is open only to LIFE at Lake Norman members, you must apply to join it.
