Ready to join? Great! The application process was designed for you to get registered right away. Please make sure you have completed these FOUR SIMPLE STEPS to complete your registration:  
  Enter your information on the application. Home educators who join our group, by virtue of membership, agree to the principles outlined in the LIFE at Lake Norman Bylaws. You will be required to confirm that you read the bylaws and liability disclaimer (below) so make sure you read those BEFORE you enter your information, otherwise you will need to re-enter your information again. After you click the submit button at the bottom of the application, scroll up to the top of the page to continue.
  Pay the annual dues via paypal (for fastest turnaround) or by check. If you choose to pay by check, print out the "check submission form" and mail it to the address listed. Once your payment has been received, you will be invited (if you are a new member) to join our Yahoo! group where all communication and announcements for LIFE at Lake Norman, including homeschooling activities and field trips, are made. Membership dues are used to help fund many LIFE at Lake Norman events that we carry out as a support group as well as pay for the ongoing expenses of our organization.
 Sign up for a job opportunity within our organization. A parent from each family that is a member of LIFE at Lake Norman is required to take a job. There are a variety of opportunities to serve our organization that help us run smoothly. Choose the top four positions that interest you. Our Nominating Team will compile all the requests and let you know what position you've been assigned. Returning members holding a position the previous year that desire to continue in that position and submit the membership fee before the deadline will have priority for that position.
 Complete our member survey. We really want to hear what you have to say! Your opinion and suggestions are heard and developed into making our organization work better for you and other LIFE at Lake Norman members.
