Why join a support group in Mooresville?

So you and your children can develop a sense of community. Your confidence in your ability to homeschool can be destroyed by feeling isolated. Our children can become familiar with one another and not miss out on that aspect of the dreaded S-word: Socialization.

By participating in monthly support group meetings, cooperative labs & learning opportunities, field trips, family activities, seasonal events, talent shows, testing, and curriculum sharing, you and your children will have plenty of opportunities to socialize.

Another benefit of membership is receiving the monthly newsletter to keep you informed about LIFE at Lake Norman activities, community activities and homeschool legislation.

Home educators who join our group, by virtue of membership, agree to the principles outlined in the LIFE at Lake Norman Bylaws.

Monthly meetings are held at 7pm, on the third Tuesday of each month, at Peninsula Baptist Church. Enter the upper door at the back of the church. These meetings are open and serve as an opportunity for anyone considering homeschooling to meet other home schoolers and to obtain information and receive an application for LIFE at Lake Norman.

If you are interested in joining LIFE at Lake Norman and would like to receive information, send an email with your contact information to our New Member Contact.
